Reasons you definitely need to consider coming to see us (and possibly calling the ambulance to bring you) include:

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Sudden or severe pain
  • Coughing or vomiting blood
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness, or changes in vision
  • Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain
  • Changes in mental status, such as confusion, or loss of consciousness
  • Large open wounds
  • Major burns
  • Spinal injuries
  • Severe head injury
  • Trauma (e.g., car accident, skiing crash)
