Since 1985, friends of MaineHealth Stephens Hospital have been making donations of $1,000 or more to receive a leaf on our "Caring Tree." Often these leaves are in memory or honor of family members or friends.

Proceeds from the Caring Tree Fund are used to fund hospital infrastructure projects such as the walkway connecting the MaineHealth Ripley Health Center to MaineHealth Stephens Hospital. Funds are also used to support the MaineHealth Maine Medical Center - Tufts University School of Medicine rural clerkship program at MaineHealth Stephens Hospital.
