Maine Medical Center (MMC) has a long, proud tradition of medical teaching, extending back to the founding of the hospital in 1874. Today, MMC has a variety of medical education programs. Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and MMC have entered a true medical education partnership, one in which both parties contribute to a unique outcome that neither could achieve on its own. This historic agreement ushers in a new model of medical education.
