From residents to attendings, I saw genuine happiness and excitement to be at work. Although residency training is known to be difficult, I chose MMC because I know I’ll be happy and supported while going through it.

Over the past few years, I have been exploring backcountry skiing and ski touring and am looking forward to explore everything that Maine has to offer. During the warmer months, I enjoy mountain biking, both trail riding and downhill. Otherwise, I enjoy walking my two dogs and exploring the awesome craft beer and food scene in Portland!
- Favorite Place in MaineAnywhere in the mountains, although the beaches are starting to creep up higher on the list.
- Why Maine Medical Center?I first heard about Maine Medical Center as I was just starting my fourth year of medical school. A few mentors of mine had either rotated through or had done residency at MMC and had nothing but good things to say. Even thought my interview process was done virtually, I knew immediately that the anesthesiology program had something special. Beyond the academics and clinical practice of anesthesia, everyone I met was very engaging and I felt both the attendings and residents were very happy here. And I can’t forget to mention Maine’s beautiful geography and outdoor access.
