The Anesthesiology Residency at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center is a categorical program, taking 8 residents per year.
From the beginning, our interns are part of the Anesthesia Department and we make every effort to include them in our activities and events. When not on service, they attend anesthesia didactic sessions and educational events. In the fall, we take all our residents on a two day retreat that is capped off by a white-water rafting adventure down the Kennebec River. Interns begin their transition to Clinical Anesthesia in June with our Anesthesia Boot Camp.
