The team of cancer experts at Maine Medical Partners – Medical Oncology offers diagnosis, treatment and support for patients on their journey. We are part of the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network – an integrated approach to care that delivers on our commitment to providing highly coordinated, state-of-the-art cancer care, close to home.

As a department of Maine Medical Center, our practice coordinates needed care provided at other cancer care locations, including Portland, Scarborough, Sanford, Biddeford, and Bath.

We know it’s important to feel confident and comfortable with the doctors and staff who provide your medical care. Our Board certified providers and care team understand the needs and concerns of patients and their families, and believe our patients deserve the most clinically advanced treatment possible.

Roger Inhorn, MD (pictured above) has recently joined Maine Medical Partners – Medical Oncology. He was the Medical Director of the Oncology/Hematology Center at Mercy Hospital from 2004 to 2018. He earned his MD and Ph.D. degrees at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis. He did an internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, then completed a fellowship in medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Inhorn has a particular interest in the treatment of patients with breast cancer and gastrointestinal malignancies.

Sarah Ketchum, MD comes to Maine Medical Partners – Medical Oncology after working at Mercy Hospital in Portland and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where she was a fellow and an instructor in medicine in the Department of Hematology/Oncology. She earned her medical degree from Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. She was a resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at Loyola from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Ketchum was a Merit Award Recipient from the American Society of Clinical Oncology in 2006.
