Our pediatric team cares for newborn infants and children up to the age of 18 who have special needs, are recovering from surgery, or are facing the challenges of a serious illness. This health care team can help with a range of health care issues that include:
- Chronic health conditions
- Developmental disabilities
- Congenital heart defects
- Cystic fibrosis
- Cerebral palsy
- Down's syndrome
- Injuries and trauma

Maternal and Child Health Grant Services
With state funding support, MaineHealth Care at Home serves as the lead provider offering nursing assessments, education and support to expectant mothers, new parents, and infants in the comfort of home. Our specially trained nurses address issues with infant feedings, nutrition, weight and development, lead exposure, and more. Services include coordination of services and referral to essential community resources. Nursing services are offered, at no charge, to those who would benefit from nursing services.
